Scheme for Award of Scholarships to Young Artistes in Different Cultural Fields 

Online applications are invited from young artistes for award of Scholarships for the year 2011-2012. This scheme is 

to support advanced training,within India, to young artistes.

Age as on 1st April, 2011 :  18 to 25 years.

Field : Indian Classical Music,Visual Arts and Folk, Light Classical Music,Indian Classical Dances,Theatre,Traditional and Indigenous Arts.

Total No. of Scholarship : 400 Scholarships are awarded every year to young artistes.This scholarship given to those candidates who  have minimum of 5 years of training with their Guru/Institute.

Last date of applications :31.03.2012

Apply : You can apply only online.Only shortlisted candidates will be called for interview.All such candidates would be informed about their interview/performance test through e-mail by 31 May, 2012.
