Staff Selection CommissionStenographers (Grade C & D) Examination 2012
Date of Written Exam: 29 July 2012,Skill Test of 100 word per minute and 80 word per minute.
Last date of application : 25 May 2012.For remote area last date is 01.06.2012.
Candidates are advised to read complete detail issued by commission on website.
Candidates with 40% and more visual disability will be considered in VH reservation.
Age as on 01.08.2012 : 18-27 years.Age relaxation as per govt. rules given in the advertisement.
Fee :Rs.100/-only and no fee for all Women candidates, Scheduled Caste (SC),
Scheduled Tribe( ST), Physically Handicapped candidates.One application for one candidate is sufficient.Not send more application for same post.
Electronic devices like mobile phones and pagers are not allowed in exam.
Education Qualification as on 01 August 2012 : 10+2 passed from any recognized board.
Exam Centres : Kanpur, Meerut,Varanasi, Allahabad, , Patna,Lucknow,Delhi , Jaipur and many other exam centres given in detailed advertisement.
Examination -
General Intelligence & Reasoning ( 50 questions for 50 marks).
General Awareness (50 questions for 50 marks).
English Language and
Comprehension (100 questions for 100 marks ).
No exemption from skill test for any candidate.
The Skill Test will be decided by the Commission. Generally it will be held at the Commission’s Regional/Sub Regional Offices.
