Chief Librarian & Accounts Officers for AIIMS 2013 Recruitment

All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) issued a notification for recruitment for the posts of Chief Librarian and Accounts Officers in February 2013.The last date for this purpose is 18 March 2013.

Applications are invited for filling up the following posts-
Chief Librarian-01 Post
Accounts Officer-02 Posts
Detail of Chief Librarian post-On Deputation basis.Period of deputation shall not ordinarily exceed 3 years. Pay scale : Pay Band-4 of Rs.37400-67000 +  Grade Pay of Rs.8700/-.
Essential Eligibility : Officers under the Central/State/U.T. Governments and Development 
Organizations holding on regular basis with minimum 5/8 years of regular service in the post in the scale of Rs.12000-16500/ Rs.10000-15200.Maximum age for this post : 56 Years.
Essential Qualification-
At least a second class Master’s Degree in Science. Degree/Diploma in Lib. Science from any recognized Institution or University.
7 years experience in library.
Desirable Qualification-
Master Degree in Library Science
Experience of documentation work.
Training in Medical Librarianship
Knowledge of Sanskrit and any modern European language other than English.
Accounts Officer-02 Posts
Pay Scale : Pay Band-3 Rs.15600-39100 + Grade Pay of Rs.5400/-
On Deputation basis.Period of deputation shall not ordinarily exceed 3 years.
Eligibility criteria-
Officers holding analogous posts on regular basis and handling Accounts and Finance matters in the pay scale of Rs.8000-13500 / Rs.7450-11500. 
Required employee in the pay scale of Rs.6500-10500 with 7 years of 
regular service in the grade (including the service in the grade of Junior Accounts 
Officer Period of deputation not  exceed 3 years.
The number of posts is tentative and is liable to change the number of posts.
