Constable/Driver – Direct (Backlog vacancies)-339 Posts
For  Sc-275 ,for ST-64 Posts.
Constable/Driver – Direct (Current vacancies)-994 Posts
For  General-503 , for SC-149 posts,for ST-74 and for OBC 268 Posts.
Constable/Driver – Ex-Servicemen (Backlog vacancies)-210 Posts
Constable/Driver – Ex-Servicemen (Current vacancies)-111 Posts.
Educational Qualification-Passed Matriculation or equivalent  qualification from any recognized Board +Having a valid driving licence for Light Motor Vehicle/Heavy Motor Vehicle or Transport Vehicle/Motor cycle with gear.

Eligibility for Recruitment of 1654 Constable/Drivers in CISF 2013 -

Only male Indian citizens are eligible for these posts.The recruitment will be conducted on All India basis.Temporary Posts-These posts Constables/Driver posts are temporary  in Central Industrial Security Force(CISF) but likely to become permanent.

Pay Scale : Pay Band – 1 Rs.5200-20200 + Rs.2000/- Grade Pay plus + other allowances from time to time. 

These vacancies may increase or decrease with out any notice. Reservation for Schedule Caste/Schedule Tribe/Other Backward Class (OBC)  categories will remain as per Government Orders and as communicated by Ministry of Home Affairs.
Area of job-Selected candidates are liable to be posted any where in the country.
Age as on 09-04-2013 : 21-27 Years.Relaxation as per govt.rules.
Physical Standards-
Height : For General, SC and OBC candidates-167 Centimeter.
Height : For Garhwalis, Kumaonese, Gorkhas, Dogras, Marathas and ST candidates-160 Centimeter.
It is noted that Ex-Servicemen candidates are eligible for Total relaxation in physical standards.
Selection Process-
Eligibility test + Physical Efficiency Test + Written Test and Trade Test. + Medical Examination.
Application Fee : 50/- (Rupees fifty only) through Postal Order.No fee for SC/ST and Ex-Servicemen candidates.
