Qualification : B.E. in Civil/Electrical/Mechanical from any recognized university.The candidates admitted in above final class can appeared in this exam.Knowledge of Hindi and culture of Rajasthan essential for Assistant Engineer (Civil) posts.

Age as on 01.01.2014 : 21-37 years.Relaxation as per govt.rules.
Pay Scale-
Pay Scale : 15600-39100 + Grade Pay 5400/-
New Pension Scheme applicable for these posts.

Exam Centres for Assistant Engineer (Civil/Electrical/Mechanical) Exam-2013

Jaipur and Ajmer. The possibility of main exam at Ajmer.
Mobile phones.pager and other electronic devices are not allowed in the examination hall.
Written Test : Preliminary and Main Exam.200 Marks for Pre. exam for two hours.
Personality Test and Viva-Voce Examination.
Candidates who obtain such minimum qualifying marks in the written test of the Main examination shall be called for interview.

The Commission shall award marks to each candidates at the time of interview. In interviewing the candidates besides awarding marks in respect of character, personality, address and physique, marks shall also be awarded for the candidate's knowledge of Rajasthani culture.These papers will be at Bachelor's Degree level.Hindi paper will be of Senior Secondary Level.All papers required shall be answered either in Hindi or in English.
If a candidate's hand-writing is not easily legible, deduction will be made  from the total marks. Credit will be given for orderly, effective and exact expression combined with due economy of words in all subjects of the examination.
Candidates are advised to appear in all compulsory and optional papers.
The Commission shall not recommend any candidate , who has failed to obtain 50% marks.
