National Talent Search Examination (NTSC) 2013-14
The NCERT is going to conduct National Talent Search Examination 201314 on 11.05.2013 in various states of India.Notification issued on website.The purpose of NTSC is to identify talented students and nurture them.This scheme was started in the year 1963.Students studying in Class 10th are eligible to appear in this examination.The detail of NTSC 2013-14 Stage-1 are as under-
Last Date for Submission of Application Form-31.08.2013.Note last date may vary from state to state.
Date of Examination in Mizoram, Nagaland, Meghalaya and Andaman and Nicobar Island-16.11.2013
Date of Examination in other states and Union Territory-17.11.2013
In Stage-2 Examination in All States and Union Territories will be held on 11.05.2013.
The NCERT also issued detail ,application form and Region -Wise list of NTS Coordination centres.
Scholarships-1000 scholarship @ 500/- per month.
15% scholarships for Schedule Caste,7.5% scholarships for Schedule Tribe and 3% scholarship are reserved for Physically Challenged students.
Students, who qualify Stage-I will be eligible to appear for Stage-II examination.
How to apply-
Apply on prescribed application format.Application format given on official website of NCERT www.ncert.nic.in.The completed application form should be signed by the Principal of the school.
