Geologists' Examination 2013
The UPSC is going to conduct the Geologists'Examination 2013 on 09.11.2013 at various examination centres. Online applications are invited for above exam.
How to apply- Apply online at UPSC official website www.upsconline.nic.in.
Mobile phones and other electronic devices are not allowed in the examination hall.
Centres of written test-Jaipur,Ahemdabad,Lucknow,Kolkata,Patna ,Mumbai, Shimla, Delhi,Chandigarh and others.
Application Fee-200/-through cash or net banking.No application fee received from Schedule Caste/Schedule Tribe/PWD candidates.
Schedule of Written Test-
General English 100 Marks for 3 Hours
Geology Paper-1 200 Marks for 3 Hours
Geology Paper-2 200 Marks for 3 Hours
Geology Paper-3 200 Marks for 3 Hours
It is noted that all question papers must be answered in English.Marks will not be allotted for mere superficial knowledge.Credit will be given for orderly.
Interview and Personality Test-After written test interview and personality test will be held to successful candidates.
Last date-The last date for online application is 23.09.2013.
Instructions for written test-
Write the answers in own handwriting.Pencil may be used for mathematical works and drawing.Answer in excess of prescribed number will be ignored.Unfair means strictly prohibited.Do not misbehave in the examination hall during written test.
