The CBSE is busy in preparing to conduct next Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) 2014 these days.It may be held on 16.02.2014 at various exam centres.It is possibility that the online application for CTET 2014 may be start from at the end of this month September 2013.The Public Relation Officer of the Central Board of Secondary Education Mrs.Rama Sharma told to media that no date is fixed for next CTET 2014 exam yet.It is noted that CTET 2013 was held on 28.07.2013.The last date for online application was 22.04.2013 with date of extension.
Validity Period of CTET certificate-The Validity Period of qualifying CTET certificate will be seven years from the date of its declaration.
Importance of CTET Certificate-
It is noted that CTET is compulsory to recruit in the schools of Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS), Central Tibetan Schools,Navodaya Vidyalaya (NVS) etc. and schools under the administrative control of Union Territories of Chandigarh, Daman & Diu ,Dadra & Nagar Haveli, and Andaman & Nicobar Islands and NCT of Delhi.
Admit Card of CTET-
The Admit Cards will be uploaded on website before some days from the written test date of CTET 2014.
Eligibility Criteria-
Minimum 60% marks are compulsory to qualify this test.
The records of Central Teacher Eligibility Test is preserved upto three months from the date of declaration of result.
The examination hall will be opened 45 minutes before test.
The Candidates will seek a photocopy of their OMR Sheet of CTET by paying prescribed fees of Rs.500/-.Tea, coffee, cold drinks or snacks will not allowed during examination hours.
Use of eraser or white/correction fluid on the Answer Sheet will not permissible.
