UGC NET JRF Exam 29 December 2013 Notification
The University Grants Commission has been issued the notification for UGC NET Exam-Admit Card and Result December 2013 exam.Application form can be filled by online only.The examination will be held on 29.12 2013 at various exam centres spread in India.The last date for online applications is 30.10.2013.The important dates for UGC NET JRF exam are as under-

Age Limit for online application-
Age for Junior Research Fellowship: Not more than 28 years as on 01.10.2013.
No upper age limit considered for UGC NET Exam.
Examination Fee-450/-for General category Candidates,225/- for Other Backward Class (OBC) candidates and Rupees 110/- for Schedule Caste/Schedule Tribe/Physically Handicapped candidates.

Schedule of Examination-
Paper-1=100 marks,60 out of which 50 question to be attempted.
Time of Exam: 09.30 A.M. to 10.45 A.M.
Paper-2=100 Marks,50 questions,Time of Examination: 10.45 A.M. to 12.00 Noon
Paper-3=150 Marks,75 questions,Time of Examination: 01.30 P.M. to 4.00 P.M.
The main subject of NET JRF exam 29 December 2013 are as under-
Philosophy,Sociology,Education,Psychology,Anthropology,History,Commerce,Social Work,Defence and Strategic Studies,Population Studies, Home Science,Public Administration,Music,Bengali,Hindi,Maithili,Malayalam,Punjabi,Oriya,
Urdu,Linguistics,Sanskrit,Telugu,Japanese,Tamil,Chinese,Gujarati,Manipuri,Russian,French (French Version),Persian and German etc.
Qualifying Criteria for UGC NET 29 December 2013 Exam-
In step-1 =For category General :Paper-1=40% marks,Paper-2=40% marks,Paper-3=50% marks,For category OBC Non Creamy Layer :Paper-1=35% marks,Paper-2 35% marks and Paper-3=67.5% marks (Rounded off to 68)
For category PWD/ST/SC : Paper-1=35 % marks,Paper-2=35% marks,Paper-3=40% marks.
In Step-2 :Merit list subject-wise and category-wise .
In Step-3 : Top 15% candidates will be declared NET qualified for eligibility for lectureship only.
In Step-4 : A separate merit list prepared for the award of JRF .
For category PWD/ST/SC : Paper-1=35 % marks,Paper-2=35% marks,Paper-3=40% marks.
In Step-2 :Merit list subject-wise and category-wise .
