UGC NET JRF Exam 29 June 2014 Notification
The University Grants Commission has been issued the information for UGC NET/JRF June 2014 Exam.The exam will be held on 29.06.2014 (Sunday) at various exam centres.
Application form can be filled by online only from 15.04.2014.The last date for online applications is 05.05.2014.The important dates for UGC NET JRF exam are as under-
Starting date of online applications-15.04.2014
Last date for Applying Online & generation of filled Bank Challan for Fee.-05.05.2014.
Last date of submission of Fee through online generated Bank Challan in State Bank of India and date for taking printout of application form etc.will be announced in detailed advertisement.Age Limit for online application-

Age for Junior Research Fellowship: Not more than 28 years.
No upper age limit considered for UGC NET Exam.
Examination Fee-450/-for General category Candidates,225/- for OBC candidates and Rupees 110/- for SC/PHC/ST candidates.
Schedule of Examination-
Paper-1=100 marks,60 out of which 50 question to be attempted.
Time of Examination- 09.30 A.M. to 10.45 A.M.
Paper-2=100 Marks,50 questions,Time of Examination: 10.45 A.M. to 12.00 Noon
Paper-3=150 Marks,75 questions,Time of Examination: 01.30 P.M. to 4.00 P.M.
The main subject of NET JRF exam 29.06.2014 are as under-
Philosophy,Education,Sociology,Psychology,History,Commerce,Defence and Strategic Studies,Social Work,Population Studies, Home Science,Public Administration,Bengali,Hindi,Music,Maithili,Anthropology,Malayalam,Punjabi,Oriya,
Linguistics,Sanskrit,Urdu,Telugu,Tamil,Japanese,Chinese,Gujarati,Russian,Manipuri,French (French Version),German and Persian etc.

Qualifying Criteria for UGC NET 29.06.2014 Exam-

In step-1 =For category General :Paper-1=40% marks,Paper-2=40% marks,Paper-3=50%  marks,For category OBC Non Creamy Layer :Paper-1=35% marks,Paper-2 35% marks and Paper-3=67.5% marks (Rounded off to 68)
For category PWD/ST/SC : Paper-1=35 % marks,Paper-2=35% marks,Paper-3=40% marks.
In Step-2 :Merit list subject-wise and category-wise .
In Step-3 : Top 15% candidates will be declared NET qualified for eligibility for lectureship only.
In Step-4 : A separate merit list prepared for the award of JRF .
