Online Admission for Secondary and Senior Secondary April 2016 Exam

The National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS) invites online applications for admission in 10th and 10+2 examinations for April 2016 examination.The last date for submission of application form is 15.08.2015 with 200/- late fee.The complete schedule are as under-

Admission for 10th class 2015-16 Session (Stream-1,Block-1)

Last date of admission-15.08.2015 (with late fee Rs.200/-).16.08.15 to 31.08.15-400/- late fee.01.09.2015 to 15.09.15 with late fee 700/-.

Minimum age for admission as on 31.07.2015-14 years.

Eligibility-Passed 8th class or self certificate ( as prescribed in the admission form).

Admission for 10+2 class 2015-16 session (Stream-1,Block-1)

Last date of admission with 200/- rupees with late-15.08.2015.16.08.15 to 31.08.15-400/- late fee.01.09.2015 to 15.09.15 with late fee 700/-.

Eligibility-Passed 10th class from any recognized board.

Minimum age for admission as on 31.07.2015-15 years.

Offline applications will also be accepted.Candidates are requested to contact nearest NIOS centres to take the admission.

Tentative dates of examination-
The learners of this stream will be eligible to appear in the April 2016 examination.

Validity of admission-

The validity of admission for only 5 years.

Mode of payment of admission fee-
Application fee can be paid through Debit Card/Credit Card/Bank Draft.Bank draft should be in favour of Secretary,NIOS payable at respective regional centres.
