Online applications are invited for recruitment of Guest Trained Graduate Teacher (TGT) Punjabi and TGT Urdu.Total posts are 1478.760 posts are for TGT Punjabi and 718 posts are for TGT Urdu.The last date for online application is 11.11.2016.The detail of posts are as under-
TGT Punjabi-760 Posts
(For SC-114,for ST-57,for OBC-205 and for others 384 posts.
TGT Urdu-718 Posts
(For SC-107,for ST-53,for OBC-193 and for others 365 posts.
Age limit-Not more than 30 years for male and not more than 40 years for female candidates.relaxation as per govt. rules.

Starting date of application-28.10.2016.Last date of online application-11.11.2016
How to apply-Apply online at www.edudel.nic.in.Read detailed instructions before application.Applicants are instructed not to send hard copy of application.
Mode of selection-The selection will be made on the basis of merit.The tentative merit list will be published on 16.11.2016 at 06:00 PM on website of department.
Guest TGT/Punjabi/Urdu Teachers already engaged in Delhi govt. schools need not apply again.
Remuneration-800/- per day subject to maximum 20000/- per month.
Qualification-
B.A. Hons. in one of the Modern Languages (MIL) concerned OR BA with MIL concerned as one of the elective subjects with one additional language at degree level OR Oriental Degre in MIL concerned. For Urdu Teacher candidates who possess qualification equivalent to 10th Senior secondary from recognized approved Madarsas and B.A. /B.ed. And CTET conducted by Central Board of Secondary Education.
